Arken EP8 1-8x28 FFP KLBOX MOA LPVO

The Arken EP8 1-8x28 FFP is a versatile Low Power Variable Optic designed to combine fast target acquisition at 1x with the added precision and target identification provided by 8x magnification.

Its optical system uses Japanese Extra-Low Dispersion (ED) glass to help maintain image clarity, contrast and colour definition throughout the magnification range while reducing chromatic aberration.

This version is equipped with Arken's KLBOX reticle in the First Focal Plane. The KLBOX is a streamlined BDC-style reticle designed around common 5.56 and 7.62 ballistic profiles, providing intuitive elevation references together with integrated wind hold points. Its relatively open design keeps the sight picture uncluttered at lower magnification while providing additional hold references as distance increases.

Because the reticle is positioned in the First Focal Plane, it scales together with magnification. This means the reticle's hold references maintain their relationship to the target throughout the complete 1-8x magnification range.

At 1x, the EP8 provides a wide 121.15 ft field of view at 100 yards for fast target acquisition and situational awareness. Increasing magnification up to 8x provides considerably more detail for target identification and precise aiming at longer distances.

The 34 mm main tube provides a substantial internal adjustment range, with 110 MOA of both elevation and windage adjustment. Capped turrets provide 0.25 MOA adjustments with 25 MOA per revolution, while helping protect against accidental adjustment during transport and field use.

An integrated removable throw lever allows quick magnification changes, and the red illuminated reticle improves reticle visibility against darker or complex backgrounds.

The KLBOX is a BDC-style reticle designed around common 5.56 and 7.62 ballistic profiles. It provides elevation hold references together with integrated wind hold points for fast and intuitive corrections.

As with any BDC reticle, actual point of impact will vary depending on ammunition, muzzle velocity, barrel length, environmental conditions and zero distance. The reticle should therefore be verified with the specific rifle and ammunition being used.

The First Focal Plane design means the reticle scales with magnification, allowing its hold references to be used throughout the complete 1-8x magnification range.

The scope requires 34 mm rings or a compatible 34 mm scope mount.

Reticle illumination requires one CR2032 battery. Battery is not included.
