Arken EPL4 4-16x44 FFP VHR MIL

The Arken EPL4 4-16x44 FFP is a lightweight, field-oriented rifle scope designed for hunters and shooters who want precision capability without the size and weight of a larger long-range optic.

The 4-16x magnification range provides a versatile balance between field of view and target detail, while the 44 mm objective helps maintain a compact profile. Arken's Japanese J-ED Extra-Low Dispersion glass is designed to reduce chromatic aberration and deliver a clear, high-contrast image across the magnification range.

This version is equipped with Arken's VHR MIL reticle in the First Focal Plane. The VHR is designed around a relatively open and intuitive sight picture for quick target acquisition while still providing useful MIL-based references for elevation and wind corrections. This makes it particularly well suited to hunting, dynamic shooting and changing field conditions.

Because the reticle is positioned in the First Focal Plane, it scales together with magnification. The reticle subtensions therefore remain accurate throughout the complete 4-16x magnification range.

The elevation turret provides precise 0.1 MRAD adjustments with 8 MRAD per revolution. Arken's AZS Zero Stop creates a positive mechanical reference point, allowing the turret to be returned quickly and consistently to the established zero after dialing for distance.

The capped windage turret is designed for a low-profile, set-and-forget configuration and features a tool-less zero reset. This helps protect against unintended adjustments while keeping the scope streamlined for field use.

Side parallax adjustment from 10 yards to infinity allows the image and parallax to be fine-tuned across a wide range of shooting distances. At approximately 683 g / 24.1 oz, the EPL4 remains considerably more field-oriented than heavier precision optics while retaining the adjustment capability expected from an FFP scope.

The VHR (Variable Hunter Reticle) is designed around a relatively open sight picture for quick target acquisition while still providing MIL-based aiming references for elevation and wind corrections.

The First Focal Plane design means the reticle scales with magnification, so its MIL subtensions remain accurate throughout the complete 4-16x magnification range.

The scope requires 30 mm rings or a compatible 30 mm scope mount.

The windage turret is capped and features a tool-less zero reset.

Reticle illumination uses one CR2032 battery.
